Dr. Mike Corson Sr.

Dr. Mike Corson Sr is originally from Portage, Indiana but came to the University of Denver on an athletic scholarship. After graduation he went back to Indiana to attend the Indiana University School of Dentistry. He joined the US Army Dental Corps and was stationed at Fitzsimons General Hospital caring for wounded Vietnam soldiers. After his military service he started a private dental practice in Aurora, Colorado where he helped his patients for 35 years. During that time Dr. Corson donated dentistry for disadvantaged children and their families. Dr. Corson also provided pro bono dentistry to Bosnian refugees who had come to the Denver area after fleeing from the war. He is now helping his son Mike Jr. in his new practice. Dr. Corson enjoys golf, fishing and his grand children in his spare time. He has been married to his wife Mary for 38 years and has three sons; Mike, Tom and Doug.
